Studio Policies

Our instructors plan for each lesson and invest in the long-term development of every student. By enrolling in lessons at Spark School of Music, all students agree to the following terms.

  • Tuition is billed every 4 weeks to account holder’s credit/debit card, typically on the 1st of each month.

    Student membership guarantees a regular weekly lesson time. If the regular teacher is not available, a substitute will be arranged.

    As part of our services, we provide educational materials and weekly practice notes at no additional cost. Students may purchase additional lessons at any time.

  • 60-min private lessons: 392 for 4 lessons
    45-min private lessons: 296 for 4 lessons
    30-min private lessons: 198 for 4 lessons
    45-min group classes: 88 for 4 classes

  • Students are expected to be punctual to their weekly lesson. Students who are late for a lesson cannot be guaranteed their full lesson time.

    As part of our commitment to our students, all lessons cancelled in advance must be rescheduled as make-up lessons. Consistency allows our instructors to keep their students on a steady track towards success while maintaining regular availability for new ones. Unused make-ups expire at the end of each month and do not roll over.

  • No tuition credit or refunds are provided for missed lessons. A make-up lesson will be issued when a lesson is cancelled with at least 24-hour notice.

    Cancellations made with less than 24-hour notice do not qualify for make-up lessons. The same policy applies to make-up lessons.

  • Students may put their membership on “Vacation Hold” for up to one (1) month. Student’s lesson time and teacher are reserved by pre-paying tuition for the month following a Vacation Hold. Vacation Hold is non-refundable.

  • Unless requested in writing, Spark School of Music is granted permission to take photographs and/or videos of students to use for social media and other promotional materials Spark School of Music creates. Names of students are not released to the public.

  • Student membership may be cancelled before the 1st of the month by submitting a 14-day written notice. Cancellation will be effective as of the month in which next tuition is due. Student may withdraw the cancellation at any time before it takes effect.

    Student membership is non-transferable and non-refundable. Spark School of Music reserves the right to terminate membership, in which case, unused lessons will be refunded.
